Roseland First Aid Squad has been in existence since 1980, as an all volunteer organization.  However, due to a general decrease in volunteerism in all organizations; the Roseland First Aid Squad had to hire some paid staff during the day.  This ensures our residence that we can still provide prompt emergency medical response to all 911 calls for help during emergency situation.  We provide emergency care, treatment and transportation to the nearest hospital for the sick, and injured residence of Roseland and our surrounding communities, 365 days a year, 24 hours a day.

Members obtain their NJ EMT certification after attending a certified  EMT school and passing the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians examination. The EMT school offers different schedules to accommodate most working and school schedules. 

Roseland First Aid Squad conducts monthly training sessions, making sure our members are proficient in the latest prehospital emergency care procedures and techniques.
